Father's Day Smelled of Dead Fish

You thought I was kidding didn't you?

For like 2+ years my husband has been telling me about this fishing tournament. I kid you not, it would probably make his life to be able to fish in it someday except there are two major problems:

1) It is expensive just to enter plus there are a ton of additional costs involved.

2) He doesn't really have a clue what he is doing.

So he is going to have to settle for going to watch the fish come in instead.

So off we went to visit a long time family friend plus another friend I "met" on the interwebs at least 2 years ago. I was so glad to finally meet her!

Anywho, that is our boat right there in the picture above. Not those "small" ones of course. I'm talking about the really BIG one.

And this time I am joking of course. That yacht is called Seafair and it was docked while en route up to New England or so we were told. Either way it was large. Those smaller boats aren't actually small at all it is just that the big boat was HUGE.

Hey Mom, that boat isn't really that impressive so I'm going to take a nap now.

P.S. I found this dress at the little corner farmer's market that morning. The lady had a ton of handmade pillowcase dresses and I may have bought one (or two). Adorable!

This guy had the same idea. We watched him nap for at least an hour while waiting to see if any big fish came in.

They didn't.

And this is the hubs (on the right) and his friend of many years who lives in this beautiful town. We will be back soon my friends!

Overall, it was a great Father's Day and I may have had more fun than he did. It was really fun and I can't wait to go back next year!
